Tubs are made of a durable fiberglass blend that has been specially designed to provide an open air space between the layers of fiberglass. This gap is then filled with foam. Immergood then equips the tub with heavy duty stainless tub hardware. Purchase the optional stainless steel matching insulated tub cover. Allows you to remove the frame and dasher and keep the ice cream in the bucket for extended periods. Some Amish report keeping ice cream for days in the covered fiberglass tub. Individual experience may vary.

Heavy Stainless tub hardware and gear holders, while others have just done away with latches all together, Immergood has gone to the other extreme using heavy gauge stainless steel tub ears and latch.

The new positive stainless steel tub latch is made just like an old window sash latch.

The Stainless steel doesn’t stop on the outside either.

Immergood Freezers use a polished stainless can which is 40% thicker than White Mountain.

The 6 qt electric Immergood also includes a stainless steel dasher.

The can lid is made from high impact clear poly making it easier to see when the ice cream nears ready. These clear lids have become popular with the Amish since they are as strong and easier to clean than the old style metal lids.

The tub center and scrapers are made from a durable Derlin high impact plastic that the Amish have been using for several years to replace the old cast iron tub centers used in the White Mountain freezers.

The Immergood 6 qt electric is equipped with the improved green White Mountain electric motor. Since White Mountain introduced this new motor customer satisfaction has been high.

If you would like to go with an all USA made motor and gearbox the Immergood 6 qt may be upgraded with the new Country Freezer Electric motor frame.

Since Country Freezer is also a small company selling the high-quality USA made freezers and parts, their pricing model is nowhere competitive with the large volume of imports. Both electric motors have a 1-year warranty. Note: the Country motor will be much noisier compared to the White Mountain motor which is normal.
